Hello Bees!
So we bought our rings today. Moreso put down a deposit.
The style I picked is a lot more akin to an eternity ring, but I hate the idea of matching my engagement ring.
The ring on my middle finger is just irrelevant lol. I’m worried it won’t seem like a wedding band because of it basically being a half eternity ring, but it’s beautiful and unique, which is what I want.
This is my engagement ring, from the day I got it. Every jeweler kept trying to force me to try rings that matched my band, but that never appealed to me.
Should I change up my decision? Should I stick with it?
I’m torn because I really love the ring.

If you love the ring that is the only thing that matters. There are no rules about what a wedding band has to look like or that it needs to match your engagement ring. If you love it – use it!

marisabb: I think it looks beautiful. I don’t think theres anything wrong with it being like an eternity ring style 🙂 I got a 3/4 eternity ring for my wedding band b/c I dont’ like it being too matchy matchy with my engagement ring too.

Get what you love, OP. Your band is gorgeous and will look perfect next to your ering. My wedding band is a half eternity, and so are the wedding bands of many women I know.

That’s so pretty! I am doing something similiar. I also wanted an eternity band because my ring tends to spin a lot. I figured if I have an eternity band I won’t have to keep playing with it to keep it in place. what I think I’m actually going to do is have the jewler just put diamonds around 3/4 of the ring so it looks like an eternity band but keep that little chunk of metal showing in case I ever need it resized!
