bitsybee:  commenting to follow — I have a solitaire and am debating between a five stone, seven stone, or half eternity.

This was a size 6 I believe and just under 1 carat. Honestly to get to a 3.5mm width you would probably be between a 1 -1.5 would be my best guess since I don’t have teeny fingers. I really liked the 1.5 carat I tried on but the thickness didn’t match my ering.

Yes we took a picture of the ring on her business card so that we had all the information in case we lost it.

I love the side profile as well I didn’t think I would choose an eternity ring as a wedding band but this ring was beautiful  and it is two toned with rose gold like my ering.

sway0060:  I’m considering an eternity as well – why do you think it’s a bad idea?

Kelani23:  I don’t think it’s a bad idea just usually you buy an eternity ring as an annviersary not a wedding band. I love it as a wedding band though and it’s the first ring that has matched nicely with my ering.

Mine is a little over half eternity.. I love it. I think my husband said each stone is 3.5mm.

sway0060:  Sorry, I misread your post!  I thought it said “I don’t think I would choose an eternity ring…”

With my 3/4 pave shank on my e-ring, I feel like I’m going to need at least 3/4 eternity… I’ve looked at SO MANY rings that most of the stones get hidden by my 11mm wide halo!  Unfortunately plain doesn’t “go” either 😛

I am concerned about the comfort factor though…

By The Way, my fiance said that he will get me an anniversary band at 50 years… so I figure go big or go home now – I’m almost 34!! lol

bitsybee:  Mine is a 5 stone. I love that it covers my fingers nicely without scratching the neighbouring fingers. I think a half eternity or a 7 stone would have been a little too much/ uncomfortable for My small finger.

I’m the same size as you OP! 3.75!

This one is not real, but it a size 6 ring, 1.8 ct total (0.09 ct each), a little over 3mm wide.  My finger is actually a 4.75, but I bought this a long time ago!
