Hi guys, was wondering if you could give me your opinion… I am looking to buy my wedding band to match my ering. We want a full diamond claw setting band. We saw both at 77diamonds and Purely Diamonds. Although Purely Diamonds didnt show us the ring with diamonds but with cubic zirconia. I liked the Vogue style at 77D but this is 1.8mm wide, PD has a similar one at 2.15mm. I would probably prefer the band around 2-2.15mm. My ering is from 77D and I love it, saw mixed reviews about Purely Diamonds and I am concerned that the color of the diamond may not be as great… Any advise? Thanks

Well, I’m finding this a bit confusing, so if you wouldn’t mind, could you clarify it for me? It looks like you are happy with 77diamonds but the matching band is only 1.8mm and you want a wider one. Your concern about going elsewhere is because the colour of your ering might not match a band purchased from a different store (Purely Diamonds).
Am I right?

You can request that the diamonds match the specs of your e-ring. You also run the risk of them not matching at the other place.
Im not familiar with the stores, so I don’t know their quality or policies.
say if your ring is very good cut, vs1, and G colour, you can get a quote on a band that has diamonds matching this.
They might be able to provide you a band in a different size too.

@womanofsubstance I just haven’t heard a lot about Purely Diamonds and not sure if the quality of their diamonds is great. They seem to have their own grading for color which can be worrying. So even though I would prefer the width of their band, I am not sure if I am making the best choice by going with them. Wanted to hear about someone’s experience with them…
Thanks @caligirl0011 My concern is really more in the fact that they grade their diamonds so even though they may say is a G color is may not be as white as a G from a GIA certified stone.

Hmm, do they have a qualified appraiser on site? I wouldn’t trust their diamonds if they don’t have a real appraiser and grade their own gems.
Maybe you could have them provide a written agreement of some sort, so when your ring arrives, you can make sure it’s what they agreed upon or your money back?

both my rings come from purely diamonds. This is my half eternity wedding band. It’s 3.2mm wide with 1.7mm G VS diamonds. The quality is superb and it sparkles like crazy! Cannot fault the service we had from PD
