@capuccinoaddict: That’s beautiful! Your e-ring looks very similar to mine.
@shopoholic: Yes, it is harder to re-size an eternity band. If that is a concern for you, maybe stick with just diamonds on half?
Good luck everyone! We’re finally ordering ours this week. Mine’s been picked out since December, we just need to pay for it.

The great news for you is that you have a simple, solitaire Engagement Ring. SO your choices for a wedding band are infinite!!
While I love the idea of an Eternity band in theory, I have too many friends with eternity bands that have red, raw marks on the sides of their pinky and middle fingers from rubbing on the prongs. Several of them have gotten a plain band to wear and only wear their eternity bands on special occasions.
I opted to for a shared prong setting – 7 stones across the top. I don’t have any trouble with my ring spinning. In fact the only problem I have is with my Engagement Ring which spins due to the center stone weighing it either way. My wedding band is really comfortable and I love it. Just a note – Darling Husband designed my wedding band for me, and he was nervous that I wouldn’t like it. Our jeweler guaranteed us that if I changed my mind about the ring within the first 60 days we could return/exchange it for anything else no matter what. This might be something good to ask if you can try it out and make sure you like it before you keep it for the rest of your life 🙂
I think whatever wedding band you choose, it will be beautiful.
