Hello Bees!
So…my ring (shown on my profile pic) is a round solitaire on a platinum micro pave setting, the diamonds on the band do not go all around. My question is, what is the wedding band of choice for you ladies with this setting?
I am thinking of getting an eternity band, but would the half diamond band match more? What if I only choose to wear the wedding band alone, then the eternity would look better?
Show me your rings and what you prefer!

I love eternity bands, but I’ve heard of a lot of people banging the bottoms of their rings and knocking out diamonds.

I didn’t vote. I have two rings: one where the stones are on top only. I don’t like it. if it spins just a little bit, I think it looks “off”. I didn’t want to get it soldered to my e-ring.
so, I bought a 3/4 eternity band. it’s a good compromise. it costs less than a full eternity and if it spins a bit, you still see stones across the top of the finger. plus, I can get it resized if I need to.

i love eterneity bands and thought about getting one but i got 3/4 around instead…im actually really really glad i would be super worried about diamonds falling out from banging it on things or scratching it. My band turns around sometimes (its slightly big) and it always makes me nervous when the diamonds flip around to the other side.

oh, I just re-read the OP’s post again. since your e-ring band has stones that go halfway around, I think getting a band that also goes halfway around would match it best. however, when they spin even just a teeny bit they would no longer line up. that might bug you– or maybe not! the solution would be to get them soldered together.
but if you don’t want to solder them, then I still say full eternity or 3/4 eternity.
