- Wedding: November 2012
I sent out my wedding invitations at the end of August. Since mine is a destination wedding, we’ll be having a welcome dinner the night before to which all guests are invited. I ordered some casual invitations for this and I’m unsure about the timing and etiquette of sending them.
I feel confident that I should not send them to people who have already RSVPed no, but just thought I’d double check.
I have one family of four to which I sent an invitation and the RSVP came back with only one person planning to attend. Do I address the welcome dinner invitation to the whole family again or just the person who’s coming to the wedding?
Should I send out a welcome dinner invitation whenever I receive a “yes” RSVP to the wedding or is it bad form to send them out in a staggered fashion, and I should just go ahead and send them all out soon (except to people who have already responded no)?
Thanks for any advice!
