My wedding is in August next year but I would like to order my bridesmaid dresses early cause both fiance and I are in grad school and will be swamped during the critical months of the wedding.
My dress is here (sorrry I keep posting it! i can’t help it! lol)
and I have 7 bridesmaids (age range 21-27) who wanted all short dresses cause I’m having an August wedding in Houston! I found these on Etsy for cheap! ($80!) and just wanted your opinions on them against my dress. The seller custom makes every single dress from scratch and she has 100% positive reviews. However, she does not have a picture of her dresses on real people but she will do free alterations no matter what. Also, since her dresses are custom made, she doesn’t have a try-on program that most online stores have.
I like the 1st and 2nd one. Should I go for it? Let me know what you think!

Bump!! I love them, they are beautiful. Who are you going through on Etsy? I want to check her out! 😉

@kveloso: I recognized the bridal boutique in your pictures before I read you’re from Houston! nice, small world. =) I found my wedding dress there too! But, I ended up buying it at another store for less price.
To answer your question, I like the 2nd one. Your dress is absolutely gorgeous on you, and I love how the bridesmaid dress you’re choosing has a bodice that complements the bodice of your dress.
Who is this Etsy seller? I’d like to look her up too. =)

They are fabulous! I’d say they’d only look good on size 8 (at a push) or less though!

I have 7 bridesmaids. They’re kind of torn between the first and second one. Should I stick to one style or use both styles?

@kveloso: your gown is gorg!! pick 1 style you like..the uniformity will look awwsome and will be easier to fix(?) I am biased cuz all mine are wearing same dress. $80 is a good price (same price I got too :P)

Cute! They’re very similar to dresses by other designers (Watters and J. Crew, I believe?) so it’s great that you’re able to get such a good price on them!

@freckledjasmin hey, i purchased from the same seller for my upcoming wedding. Just a few notes if you do decide to order with that etsy seller. 1.they will include built in bra in the dresses, so you dont have to wear any bra underneath. 2. Make sure you communicate with the seller about the color, because the lining they use for the dress is a satin fabric, it will throw the chiffon fabric you selected a little off. They made the dresses well, but I was not satisfy with their customer services and communication.
