Planning my wedding made me fall in love with Etsy. I’ve had a few snaffus, but overall I’ve had great experiences.
A few weeks before my wedding, I ordered a rhinestone headband for my SD to wear. It arrived broken. I contacted the seller and she let me return it for a refund. I was pretty annoyed that she did not refund the shipping. (I realize it’s nto required to do so, but basically I paid $12 for nothing, and I KNOW it only cost 2.50 to ship it to me. I saw the stamp on the envelope)
ANYWAY, I was annoyed, but not angry. I gave her neutral feedback and explained why. Nothing inflammatory.
WELL, she gave me NEGATIVE feedback, stating that it was because I returned a broken item… what? OBVIOUSLY it was broken, that’s why I returned it!!!
I don’t REALLY care, because I’m not a seller on Etsy. I’m just a buyer, so it’s not like someone is going to refuse to sell to me just because some crazy lady left me negative feedback. I just can’t believe she did that and I had to tell someone about it.
I’ve already chatted on here about my other bad Etsy experience. I tried to buy a bracelet, and teh seller messaged me two weeks AFTER I paid to tell me the price had gone up. What?
