wow I actually like the etsy designer’s version more! Less “vines-crawling-up-your-back” looking. I’m always wary to use them too so I’m interested to hear if anyone else has used them and what the outcome was. Good luck!

The dress you chose is very beautiful, but just a heads up, it is actually also a knock off, not an original design. The dress is originally by Maison Kas, a brazilian wedding gown designer, and the first photo they have posted is from the Maison Kas website. If that doesn’t matter to you, then go for it! The seller seems to have all positive reviews!

I would take the feedback with a grain of salt — looking at their shop page, they’ve had 278 sales but only 26 feedback.. it could be because a lot of their sales are recent and still being made, but I’d maybe look for a seller with more feedback or even look into a company that’s been more “proven”, like Jasmine’s Bridal.

Looks like a Chinese dress maker… judging from the English and shipping costs from China. Plus, I would avoid any seller that uses images other than their own to sell their products.

@Elrodien:  I think I read somewhere that Maison Kas wedding dresses start at around $4500.

I bought a dress from Dressilyme and just got it today. They used another designers photo and plopped a blond chics head over a brunette lol. I already ordered a dress from a bridal shop but knew I would have a change of heart by the time the wedding came….sooooo I called every shop I could got my bridal shop gown for 300.00 less than my area was selling it for and used that 300.00 to buy another dress from the chinese shop. I actually like the Dressilyme dress better. I only ordered from them because the posts were almost 100% positive on all of the wedding boards. I am impressed with their work and it took less than a month to get my dress DURING THE CHINESE HOLIDAY! If you are on a budget or cant find a dress in the shops I would try to send them a pic and see if they will be able to do it for you! My pics of the dress are all over these boards somewhere lol.

Honestly, I don’t take the whole feedback thing too serious, while it is somewhat important, it doesn’t make or break my decision because you can’t really blame a seller for people not taking the time to actually go leave their feedback.

On the other hand, I would be a bit skeptical about ordering anything from China, but that’s just me…It’s a beautiful dress though! ๐Ÿ™‚
