Has anyone had any experience with ordering brides maid dresses on Etsy? I am considering sort of fiftiie style full dresses to go with my Maggie Sottero Aurelie…any thoughts? Dresses would be in either chiffon, duponi silk or taffeta, I think. Colors are aqua/light turquoise and grass green.
We found dresses at David’s which would work but that none of the gals were overly excited about…I think the price might excite them though compared to having them made.
Any thoughts would be helpful….

I am working with PrincessAndQueen right now about making us a dress. She has been really helpful and has even said she would even change a dress around to make it more beach appropriate. I highly reccomend her!

I am actually corresponding with someone on etsy.com myself and she has been great so far. It is a little scary when the person is so far away and you can’t look at the dress. My bridesmaids love this dress though and the cost is an even bigger plus. Som, the owner of aftershowershop is actually sending me samples of the fabric so I can finalize my colors 🙂 Good luck to you!

We purchased convertible dresses from CoralieBeatrix on etsy. So far she has been fabulous!! And you can’t beat her prices on the dress. Most ‘designers’ have the convertible dresses for well over $120-$130 and her is almost half of that. Not sure if this is a style you are looking for, but my girls loved them because it will allow them to show off a little bit of their own personalities. Plus, they can wear one style for the ceremony and then switch it up for the reception if they’d like.

That dress rocks! It’s not what I want for my bridesmaids, but I might buy one for myself!

I ordered one for myself too!!! [only in a different color]. I absolutely love the gazillion ways you can wear it…and never have the same look twice 🙂

I ordered convertable dresses from Etsy as well, but from a different seller. Cynergy. I haven’t got them yet, but when I do, I’ll let you know how it turned out!
