Please post a picture of your ring!! 🙂 I LOVE Artemer. I was literally so close to buying my new wedding ring from them but I went another. I am still planning on getting the rings I wanted from Artemer though, just as a ring hand ring instead.

I totally would order from Etsy, its probably generally more reputable than many major chain sites/stores – just read reviews & check out their sales.
Make sure you check out Stacy Kripas, or BelViaggio designs on Etsy. She is a Charlves & Colvard enthuisiast, amazing pieces, amazing reviews – especially if you are interested in moissanite, but she has genuine pieces also & will make anything! SO & I are ordering our pieces from there, very very excited to see.

Thanks for the feedback everyone
We ordered a ring from Etsy; however, not from the vendors I originally cited. I didnt want to have any looming doubts.
Prior to ordering I reached out to a few Etsy reviewers who had posted reviews a few months back to ensure they were still satisfied. They were so kind to validate their continued happiness with the product.
The vendor is based in the U.S. – I’m in Canada, they do not mark the product as “gift”, and we will be responsible for duty. This is not a problem for us.
still waiting on fedex- oh and I suppose a formal proposal when it arrives. I’ll post photos and details when this has happened.
Some interesting insight into Etsy reviews-my vendor has offered me extended warranty if I give them a 5 star review…..let’s see….

yeah, Etsy reviews are pretty useless. that stops me from ordering from them, but you did due diligence and I can’t wait to see your ring! Congrats:-)

I am really happy you took the time to look into other sellers. I still like Etsy, I’m just very cautious about it now. I’m glad this company seems a lot more legitimate than the previous one. Please post a picture when it arrives, I’m excited for you!

We bought my enagagment ring off etsy- I wanted something simple and nondiamond, which was surprisingly difficult to find at local jewelers/box store. It hasn’t arrived yet and I’m super nervous, hope it looks good….

i had the same problem. Big box stores frown about the idea of gemstone rings here. They label them as “right hand rings” and they are in gaudy and/or dated settings with lesser quality gold. I have always wanted a centre stone other than diamond. Etsy seemed like a great venue. Best wishes for your ring- please post a picture also when it arrives!

here’s my ring! Haha please ignore the giant hand close up.
It’s 14k rose gold from 360diamonds (they do white sapphires as well) I’m really pleased with it! It’s just what I was looking for And wasn’t finding in person. They also customized the four prong setting to be “t” instead of “x”.
i am going to replace the sapphire with a difference stone. I was on the fence about blue gemstone with rose gold, and once Fiance showed me purple-hued sapphires he picked out, I realized I’d like that better. The loose stones are also better quality than the one that set. (But again for the price that is what I expected) 🙂

I actually bought a beautiful custom made ring from that seller. It was wonderful craftsmanship and the seller was great to work with. I am very picky with my jewelry and I made sure I got what I wanted. I have had it for two years now and all the little pave diamonds have held up well.
I am sorry that one person had a bad experience with that etsy seller but overall that seller did a wonderful job my amethyst push present/ring.
Hope this helps!

We are considering purchasing my ring from TwoPeriDotBirds on etsy. Like you say we have only read one bad review out of many wonderful ones. Just wondering, do you have a picture of your ring so I could see the quality? Are you still happy with your ring from them?
Thank you 🙂
