I’ve been looking on Etsy for affordable sashes with bling. I can’t tell by some of the pictures if they will pop in person and in my wedding day pics. Please share your sash with bling –lots of it prefered — that you wore or plan to wear on the big day. Real pics non and pro pics welcome. Don’t forget to share your Etsy seller too 🙂
Can’t wait to see your faboulus finds *puts shades on*

I didn’t buy mine off etsy, and I don’t have a pic yet. But what I did was buy the sample belt at the bridal salon and they gave me a 60% off discount since it was a sample belt.

@7monthbride: That’s a good idea! I’ll look into that avenue.

I’ve decided to make my own sash, actually. I apologize in advance if the pictures are huge.
The designer one I wanted from the salon was a Martina Liana for $600, and I could not justify that to myself, so I looked on etsy. Didn’t feel comfortable buying one I couldn’t see in person, so I took the bull by the horns.
I ordered swarovski crystals and glass beads from fire mountain gems (great prices on swarovski elements) and picked up some glass seed beads at hobby lobby (just b/c they were cheaper than ordering online).
I have worked on it for over 8 hours, including one four hour stretch of hand sewing that nearly made me lose my mind. It is not finished, but here are a couple

@dressme3: Thank you!! I’ve wondered about my sanity a little after starting this project. But it’s turning out so nicely, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
