On August 1 I bought something for a friend’s wedding on Esty. It was a digital file she was supposed to send to my email by Sept 1. Needless to say, it didn’t come and I was religiously checking my junk mail, just to be sure. I contacted the seller nicely several times to no response.
Yesterday I sent a non-delivery report, but I’m not sure what I should do next. My worry is that I’m coming up on the 45 day limit to file complaints with paypal and etsy since I gave her SO long to send it to me. In hindsight, giving her so long was a bad call, I was trying to be nice and give her lots of time.
I haven’t heard anything from Etsy, should I have by now? I’ts been about 24 hours. How long should I wait for a response? Should I go ahead and contact paypal to cover my own ass? I’d much rather just get the file and be done with it but I’m not about to let the money go to waste on a shady seller.
I’m not really sure what do and I don’t want to get screwed. Any advice?
