Email her again, and then if she doesn’t respond by Monday morning, report it to Etsy

I would probably write her and mention that if I don’t hear back I’m reporting it to Etsy. It may sound threatening but she’s not communicating with you, what else are you supposed to do?!

What’s the name of her store? Maybe other Bee’s have experience dealing with her?

@Utopia4us:  I hear that, it doesn’t have to be a slander post, but just an inquiry- like has anyone worked with so and so.

    Keep us posted.

As an Etsy seller, I do my best to respond to emails right away.  Sometimes it happens that I’m not able to for various reasons, but I do respond within 24 hours.  So honestly, I don’t think it’s good business practice from her to wait 3 days for to respond, especially since you made payments on your order.

On a side note, this is usually how I proceed with custom made orders.  I put the listing up and wait for the buyer to purchase it.  Once they do, they receive an automatic email, thanking them for the purchase and informing them that I will confirm once the order is shipped.  The listing is also automatically removed. I usually ship the same day. Once the item is shipped I send another email confirming.  Usually there is no further emails unless there is a delay in the reception of the product.

I agree that you should email her again and ask for an update.  If she still doesnt respond, then unfortunately, you will have to report her to Etsy.

    Keep us posted.

@Utopia4us:  I opened a case once, luckily it was resolved quickly.  Anyawys, Etsy will open a case and attempt to get in contact with her. I’m not exactly sure of the process is she doesn’t respond to Etsy but I know her shop would be suspended.  You may ultimately need to file a Paypal dispute.

I would e-mail her again now and tell her you’d like a response within 24 hours or you will open a case against her.

Going to be honest with you the biggest weight you have is feedback. If you spend big money you should be able to get a reply from seller. If you have a deadline let them know, she may just not have things finished yet. Etsy likes it if you wait a week but deadlines are important. jutst be careful what you do even reporting her may not solve the answer as was my case. If you have any real problems go through PayPal NOT etsy. I learned this the hard way. Best of luck!!!

@Utopia4us:  no way! I would tell her the truth. You didn’t hear from her so you considered taking action- therefore you need some confirmation that she will come through.

Who is to say she won’t pull a disappearing act again!

Find out the latest date that you can file a claim through Etsy (& see if you can do anything through PayPal, & the date you can do that) & say you need to receive the flowers before that date (you don’t have to say why). If you don’t have them by then, I’d say file a claim. If her listing said it takes a week & its been 3 weeks & she doesn’t have any photos… that’s really sketchy.
