I got my wedding band from Etsy and I’m in love with it!

Mine’s from debblazer on Etsy, it’s a knife-edge and 14k rose gold. I’m so excited to wear it daily!

I’m getting married in November, so I have no idea how it’ll hold up. It’s either 2mm or just under 2mm.

I hope you find something you love!

I also got my 14k yellow gold half eternity off Etsy, but also can’t comment on how well it’ll hold up because I’m getting married next month. If you are concerned, you could always have the ring checked at a jeweler after purchasing to determine if you got sold a cheap imitation or what was advertised.

Always look at reviews!

whitechedderpopcorn :  I’ve never done it myself, but I would assume that if you only get a verbal assessment rather than an official appraisal, it’ll cost peanuts at best. Might depend on the store policy though, so I recommend asking if (and what) it’ll cost you to have them take a look at it. 🙂

whitechedderpopcorn :  Eh, they can have incentive to lie: so you buy from them. Not all will do this but some will.

I have bought various rings from etsy, including stackers from debblazer, custom rings, and vintage rings, and been very happy.

1mm is fine for a spacer but I would not count on it for lifetime wear. Generally you should go at least 1.8mm-2mm.

My ering is from etsy and I love it. It’s the shape of a Sakura (cherry blossom) and the craftsmanship and sculpturing of the Sakura and ring is amazing. I’m extremely happy with it. I relied on the feedback rating and number of sales history to make sure she was a good seller.  I also read every feedback that was specifically for my ring. As for how long the ring will last? Not sure yet as I’ve only worn it for just under 3 months, however I feel quite confident it should last a life time.

Personally I think 1-2mm is too delicate and could snap regardless of any jeweller you buy it from. 2mm is the absolutely thinnest ring I would wear
