@FutureDrAtkins: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was starting to regret buying it but for $119 I can’t complain, it is just a back-up dress/registry wedding dress (a few weeks before our wedding). The quality looks pretty good and the lace-up looks great! The beading is lovely too! I wasn’t looking for a replica of the Justin Alexander dress I just saw their dress on Etsy and really liked it.
So glad it is so nice, shame it doesn’t fit you well though Frown, I am sure the Modcloth dress suits you even better! Smile

FutureDrAtkins: It still isn’t ready… I should have paid rush !! She said approximately 8 weeks and I am just shy of 8 weeks in a couple of days so it should be here in a couple of weeks but to be completely honest… I think I’m going to be waiting longer than that. I think cause of their new year and that this is their busy season so I have the gut feeling I’m going to be waiting a while. Luckily I’m not really in a rush, Fiance and I actually pretty much decided yesterday that we will be postponing until next May/June. It is for certain or anything but we’re seriously considering postponing and this dress was really just a little splurge so I’ll either use it when we get married legally or for an event this summer… but I would really like to get my hands on it.
Good choice! You seemed happier with the modcloth dress because of this one not fitting right and I’m sure you’ll look beautiful!

FutureDrAtkins: I FINALLY got my dress a week ago! I’m NOT even kidding! I ordered like a week or two after you. I must say that the quality is absolutely amazing, I made a lot of adjustments which they didn’t really make which is a bummer however they also made a jacket which I saw on Etsy for $1000 and whilst I wanted changes which they didn’t as drastically as I would have liked, the bolero is EXACTLY the same as the one I saw for a grand… so I’m VERY impressed even though I would have liked a few things differently. The beading on the bolero is just breathtaking and SO heavy, it is entirely hand beaded and I got it for $80! The dress is a little big, but with the corset back it shouldn’t be a problem.

All in all I would change a couple of things, but when I saw it in person I loved it nontheless and it was a total steal for the quality of both items. I would suggest when asking for a wedding date saying that you need it way before you actually do, I said May the 18th and got it May 16th (that is why they took so long), I should have said I needed it WAY before. Had the 18th actually been my wedding I would have been SO upset. Overall, you live and you learn and if I had to do it all over again I would in a heartbeat! Both items are just beautiful and were value for money! I will post a couple of photos afterwards.

FutureDrAtkins: I stumbled across this post today while looking for some answers. I ordered this same dress from dresstalk on Etsy, on March 13th. I sent in custom measurements as well. They didn’t say they sent it until June 3rd. Not entirely sure when it’ll get here. My wedding is July 27th. But the thing is, since yesterday, the seller, and the shop no longer exist on Etsy. So I’m hoping my dress will arrive at all, seeing as I’ve waited for so long already
