@punchy:  I would go ahead and order it, I mean like I said, worst case scenario you open a paypal claim and get your money back.

Sometimes with reviews you have to remember that some people have extremely high expectations, I mean.. I’ve seen girls take $5+ designer dresses back because they were “cheap”.. clearly, they aren’t, the girls are just crazy 😛

@punchy:  That is a beautiful dress.  Do you mind me asking how much you paid for it?  I am looking at getting a second dress, and don’t want to spend $$$.  Please keep us posted on how things turn out.

Hmmm, her reviews are a little low. I’ve seen a couple etsy dressmakers with somewhat better ones.

One I’ve seen, though I haven’t bought anything from so can’t personally vouch for her, is wonderxue. Reviews aren’t perfect, but overwhemingly good, and she looks very talented. Some of her dresses just have stock photos, but quite a few look to be her actual photos.  I didn’t see your dress among the many she offers, but if you showed the lady a picture, she could probably tell if she could make it.

@thumpurr:  That dress she posted is $400 i believe. If you are looking for something cheaper and don’t mind a chinese made dress, try DHgate.com – they are some gorgeous wedding dresses for as little as $99. My dress is costing me $150

@punchy:  I have no input, and I am sorry for that. But I wanted to say that when I first read your post, I thought you said “clitoris dress”. haha. I had to do a serious double take

@arabbel:  I got my dress drom wonderux and love it!

I looked at Pandaandshammrock  but liked the dress from wonderux better. I would message them first and make sure they reply quickly and ask lots of question s first to make sure you’re on the same page. Keep in mind you only have 45 days to file a claim with PayPal.  Had anything been wrong with my dress and I needed to I wouldn’t have been able to file as it took 2 months to arrive.

@punchy:  At this price ($400) have you looked at dressilyme?  They have good reviews here on the ‘bee, are frequent posters here, and could make something similar in your price range.

My concern about Panda and shamrock is that her pictures are all over the web. Everyone claims THEY are the designer, not a reseller. Several chinese factories claim ownership of the photos, making me wonder who really makes the dresses. Chinese factories routinely use other designers photos, but they admit the photos arent theirs. It just seems a bit strange to me.

personally, I would try Jasmines. They have great reviews on here, and they send you mid-productions pics so you can see exactly what you are getting.
