Wow, I have never seen a board where every single ring is drool-worthy!  All your rings are gorgeous, tasteful, and elegant!  I’m a sucker for colored stones and gorgeous, well-cut diamonds!

I also love that there is way more variety outside the US.  As an American, I’m used to seeing the same types of rings over and over again.  You’ve seen one, you’ve seen it all!

Keep the photos coming!

I’m kinda obsessed with your ring!  I know you mentioned it’s from Israel, but would you mind telling us which company/jeweler?  It’s beautiful!!!!

I’m from Poland, my fiance is from USA. He bought the ring in Poland. I’ve never wanted a traditional engagement ring and I didn’t care for the size/price either. I wanted yellow gold (I’m a redhead with warm compection and feel much better with yellow gold) and a colorful stone. I love my ring very much, I find it truly gorgeous and beautiful.

UK here.

My ring is unique and was chosen for that fact. It’s a 2ct Swiss bue topaz centre stone, with white topaz stone set butterflies on each side. I have big. Fat hands so wanted something big that wouldn’t get lost on there lol. The ring is to no trend or no tradition of where I live. its just the one I fell in love with and it odd/ quirky like me hehe

England here and i have 0.50 carrat between them all. I don’t know anyone with bigger then .4 in one stone but i know a couple of people with coloured diamonds, pearls and other precious stones. When i first looked on this site i was like my god those rings are huge!!! Never seen rings like its not very common over here. I have another .5 carrat in my wedding ring to go with it but plain bands are very popular here as well. Its a more understated culture but it means if someone has a huge ring everyone stops and stares and goes nuts over it!

Dogmummy:

Wow, your ring is gorgeous!!!!  I love it!  What is the carat on the center stone?  It’s so shiny, elegant, and tasteful!  I live in the US, but could you please tell me where you bought your ring?

Mine is a 0.76 Neil Lane (had to take off my ring and have a look to find the size out, had no idea)! Both me and my fiance are from London, England. He chose but knows from my own sense of style etc that the design and detail etc would be more important to me than carat size. I mean, who knows except you? And not even me because I just had to check. Plus, no-one I know would ever ask what the size is, like I’ve read on some posts here (colleagues and family etc). It would be considered very rude. I suppose it all comes down to personal taste, but rings here definitely tend to be more delicate and understated, with smaller stones.

Severine:  I honestly don’t know what the centre carrat is! It came from Fraser Hart which is a chain store over here. I fell in love with it when i saw it as my great grandmothers ring (in the picture) is a similar set but about 100 years old so an old cut diamond. I love them both!
