We had a very late wedding.. Our cocktail hour was at 7pm… Ceremony at 8:30pm and Reception that included dinner was from 9pm-1am.  With a late wedding we realized that people were leaving before we even cut the cake! So my advice is to do all the main activities to the 1st half. We kept our speeches to 10 min total and we had 6 people make toasts. Our speeches were done during the end of dinner… After dinner – we did the father-daughter and mother-son dancde. Our 1st dance was in the beginning right after we entered the room. All the songs were no more than 4 min long each. My boquet toss and the gartner toss was at the end 12:20pm- right after we cut the cake.
