    I voted, “Yes, a little.”

I’m a huge overanalyzer and I overthink things entirely too much. It was only natural that I did have a few moments of, “Do I really want to do this for FOREVER?” I think it’s pretty natural. It’s not that it’s questioning your love for your SO. I think of it more about yourself – I was sort of questioning if I thought our relationship was ready for marriage or if I was personally. And yes, more often during or right after an argument.

And to be quite honest, in the 3 months of marriage I have indeed had this thought, “I really have to put up with that forever?” <– Usually when he’s being extra annoying or I’m grumpy.

I voted “Yes, a lot.” When we first got engaged I majorly freaked out and started having all sorts of doubts. I think they were pretty much all the normal sorts of doubts (so many marriages end in divorce, etc.) but I felt like I couldn’t talk about them with my Fiance, so I bottled them up and they got worse and worse. Eventually they all came pouring out and it was such a relief to just be able to share my worries with him and to find out that he had the same worries and that I really can talk to him about anything.

    Since then, no more doubts!

i have been married before and there was slight doubt.  my husband was married before as well and had a lot of doubt.

this time, i had no doubt at all.  zero.  my husband says he had no doubts either.

I’ve never had doubts about HIM… but I have had doubts about ME.  Kind of like, oh my god can I actually make a good wife for this awesome person when I’m so horrible at doing laundry/obsessed with grocery shopping/hate to clean/so independent?  Etc.

@mypinkshoes:  i have been married before and there was slight doubt.  my husband was married before as well and had a lot of doubt.

This is exactly the case for myself and my Fiance.  This time, there isn’t an ounce of doubt.  I can’t wait to get married!

I have read some of your past threads and I could see how maybe you are having some doubts?

In general its normal to fathom till death do you part and get freaked out (some anxiety is normal with any life altering decision), but in general doubt means don’t! Aka don’t do it.

I occasionally have doubts but mainly because I wonder if I am cut out for being a wife (and hopefully one day a mum) – I have no doubts about my Fiance.

He reckons he has absolutely no doubts at all – and hasn’t since he decided he was going to propose.

I haven’t yet. It’s possible that I might have doubts in the next year, but I honestly don’t expect to. We’ve certainly taken our time getting to the engagement stage…which means we’ve been through enough crap (circumstantial, family, personal, and otherwise) that if one of us hasn’t cut and run at this point, I think our odds are pretty good. We’ve only been improving over the course of our relationship, so that gives me confidence for the future.
