Ha, I love that my dress is apparently famous as “the dress with pockets” from Say Yes to the Dress.

I got married last April when pocket wedding dresses were first coming out and I got one.  Mine was Sophie from the Vineyard collection at Priscilla of Boston and I LOVED it.

You can’t tell that it has pockets unless you put your hands in it.  The skirt was actually really full and sometimes I couldn’t even find the pocket opening!

I ended up putting my cell phone (on silent of course) and my lipgloss (for touchups) in my pockets and you couldn’t see that I had anything in them at all.

    Yay pockets!!

I think that they are super cute and practical!! My first dress (I’m guilty of being a 2 dress bride) had pockets and they weren’t noticable at all!

I love a dress with pockets.  I completely forgot about it when I bought my dress.  I don’t think it’s possible now since it has already been fitted.

Pockets in fancy dresses have been a really big trend for a few years now.  My New Year’s Eve dress had pockets and I loved being able to dance without even having to carry a clutch.  I’m unsurprised they’ve showed up in wedding dresses, they’re really helpful things.

I LOOOOOVE the newer designs that are out with pockets!!!!  Its so unique and I would have totally gone with one had I not fallen in love with the more form fitting styles.

I agree with what most of the other bees are mentioning – it looks better on the fuller-skirt styles.  I’ve seen them in real life and it wasn’t tacky looking at all … so different, young, modern, and cute!

Some of my bms will have pockets on their dresses.

During my dress hunt I tried on the Amsale Serena, which had pockets… the dress wasn’t quite what I was looking for… (it was more of a ballgown and not the sleek look I was going for…) but I did love those pockets… The cool thing was you couldn’t really tell they were there…

    Beautiful dress though…

My wedding dress has pockets, it’s heaven!! I honestly wouldn’t have bought a wedding dress without pockets (ridiculous I know).

Mine’s a Martina Liana. It’s a convertable dress and the long skirt has the most amazing pockets (unfortunately you can’t see them in this picture, but they’re there!)

I wore the Melissa Sweet Fiesole, tea length and it had pockets.  They were not noticable at all, but super cute!!!
