I took numerous sick days and ended up working from home for some time (and still have to). My morning sickness became hyperemesis though, and it definitely took a toll on me.

Have you talked to your doctor about some options? Maybe they have some other suggestions, or if it gets that bad, they can prescribe something to help. It was hard to take medication, but it came my only choice :

I don’t know how people work pregnant!  I was working for myself, so I was able to just care for myself.  I was SO SICK for two weeks in there I could barely get off the couch!

@Mrs Hedgehog:  I always felt too guilty to take a day off. I would say if you can without getting in trouble with work, do it!

Yep, just once last week.  It was at the point that every time I stood up, I threw up.  It was only really bad for a day or two (one was the weekend) and then it got manageable again.  But, I’ve been working through lunches and leaving early so I can get home in time for my daily throw up around 4:30pm.

I’ve taken lots of partial days because of morning sickness head pregnancy related headaches. I felt guilty at first, but sick is sick! That’s what they’re there for!

@Mrs Hedgehog:  Yup…., there’s no point going in if you’re going to be miserable and/or puking. Fortunately my sups wife is pregnant so he’s pretty empathetic.

I haven’t had to yet, but I just started getting MS. I can picture it happening down the road though. Joy!

I have taken a lot of sick days or worked from home due to severe MS. I still work from home one day a week from MS and I am 15 weeks.

I called out  once but it wasn’t due to typical morning sickness, I was not only nauseated, but had a 3-day-long migraine and fever. :/

I’ve taken days for pregnancy realted illness, usually due to headaches and once due to being up most of the night with heartburn and I was exhausted the next morning.
