When I was 14, I had to go a whole day at school with blood stains on the back of my dress…my first damn period decided to start at almost exactly 9am.  No one said a word to me…no one offered to help…all damn day!

And then my mother wouldn’t let me use tampons as she believed using them meant you were no longer a virgin.  Undecided This in the early 80s in Australia, when pads were fucking horrible thick things…and it was very hot summer.

I remember being so upset that day thinking ‘I’ve got this for probably the next 40 years!’

I had a couple of accidents like yours.  I was in my early 20s before my cycle got even near regular.

Just be thankful that you probably won’t have to see the silly bitch again!

@ShabbyChicBee:  Sounds like she still has jealousy issues with you all these years after high school, and besides that, maybe things aren’t that great for her right now. Good on you for being the bigger person.

@ShabbyChicBee:  hahaha nooooooooooo i want to laugh and cry for you at the same time!! in high school, i had a little period mishap while wearing a light colored skirt and i had my art teacher PAINT over it hahahaha. so it looked like i sat in paint rather than period-ed all over myself hahaha i definitely thought that was an improvement. but it totally sucks when that happens. don’t worry abou the girl. sounds like she’s miserable enough!

@ShabbyChicBee:  oh my goodness that sounds like something out of a movie!!

You poor thing. So sorry that happened,  how awful! But hey, you have a pretty amusing albeit embarrassing story now!! I can totally see your future daughter having a frenemy and you telling her this story. Lol

OP… dont even give that bitch a second thought.  Karma works… you might not see her misery when it does happen, but trust me, it will happen.

I’m sorry you had to deal with that, it sucks.

My kid peed in the cart in the Sam’s checkout line last week. It was everywhere. Worst day of my adult life.

Girl, shit happens. I straight gasped and went “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” and half laughed and also half cried for you while I was reading.

Good for you, covering it up with the program and going about your business (and it not being on your dress, yay!), and also HAHA karma is a bitch and it seems as if that girl is just living in a world full of misery. Let her, she sounds awful. She is genuinely unhappy, and you are genuinely happy.

Aunt Flow, though, what a B!!! (If it helps, I was doing homework recently and didn’t notice that my tampon, I guess..was the wrong absorbency? T_______T Thankfully I was at home but when I got up to use the bathroom and found it EVERYWHERE, I just burst into tears in the bathroom and stood there like a 4 year old with a skinned knee weeping. My DH ran out from the office because he thought I was seriously injured. Ugh. We all have those days, girl. *hug* Congrats on your upcoming wedding, btw!)

How embarassing! But very well played off & luckily no stains on the dress! I had a “staining accident” myself before, not in public bus still pretty embrassing. I was sitting on a family member’s bed & didn’t notice “leakage”. When I got up to walk away into another room I noticed a pretty big stain on the sheet (ahhhhh!) so I quickly sat back down to cover it up & pretended to just be hanging around lol. As soon as they left I ran to my mom & told her, she helped me strip the bed so we could wash the sheets & scrub down the mattress. Luckily they stood out that night so it gave us time for all to dry & be put back in place like it never happened. *Whew*

ShabbyChicBee:  So sorry that happened to you.  Don’t worry too much about it, that girl isn’t worth your time.

Last Easter I was with my FI’s family (he was just my boyfriend at the time) and I was wearing white shorts when that happened.  I tried to hide it and then felt so awkward when we left really early.  It was embarrassing but what can you do?

ShabbyChicBee:

Ummm …  how did you get it on the cushion but not on your dress?  Did you sit with your skirt hiked up to your waist?  <br />
