OMG! I thought it was just me. I got engaged in October (getting married in November 2012) and I hear this a couple times a day! LOL! The funny thing is I went to the doctor two weeks ago for a randomn checkup and found out that I was five weeks pregnant! I was in total shock due to the fact that I am on birth control and the fact that my son turned 18 a week before. Unfortunately I was unable to keep the baby, it was etopic (tubal) :'(. But what are the odds??? Craziness. I guess everyone was right!
Congrats on your engagement!

@poetryreader80: A month ago visiting the inlaws I’d been up since 6 on Thursday, running around shops getting last minute things, rushed back only to be met with a housefull of people and a pshycotic child – lots of shouting loud talking etc, then we had to rush back out to visit our photographer about the album and pick the pictures up, then rush back to the house for evening dinner – more loudeness, and we had to be up at 5am to catch a train to the airport to start a 16 hour trip to get back for a weekend in the UK (Wedding on the Saturday and baptism on the Sunday – no direct flights so a lovely case of country-hopping to get there) before a return journey starting at sunday midnight, a delayed flight, running for a connection flight, and arriving back at the inlaw’s house at midnight on monday. The knowledge that we had to get up at 6am the next morning to get back to where we live for work was enough to make me so tired that I felt a bit woozy and had a headache and decided that I wanted an early night (well 12.30am).
This meant that of course I must be pregnant. Mother-In-Law called SIL to check my symptoms the next day and Brother-In-Law called to tell us. It was a complete WTF moment.
And if I dare put any food close to my mouth or express a desire for even the simplest meal choice, well it must be a craving. Back off peeps!
