Hi everyone, I’m needing help finding a band to wear at work. I work in healthcare and primarily in the hospital. I know there will be times I need to take it off, but as I run between units I know I’ll still be able to wear it. My primary concern in picking something is price and durability. I hand sanitize between each patient room and that can sometimes mean three times just for one patient. I’m worried a gold band would be too soft to handle that in the long haul, but platinum is so expensive. I’d also like to get my name engraved on the inside, which would bum me out about choosing silicon.
Does anyone have any recommendations that would fit my budget and my needs? Thank you all in advance. Here’s what I currently wear when I’m not at the hospital:

I came here to say that I wear my usual rings and my silicone ring daily, just on opposite hands. I know some of the silicone brands like Enso and Qalo now offer engraving. You could also consider looking at titanium rings because they are very resistant to chemicals, we had to get this for my husbands wedding band because he works with a lot of chemicals like chlorine. We got it super cheap, like $45 on titaniumrings.com

one of my close friends drives an ambulance and her set is a plain white gold band and a channel set diamond white gold band and as far as I know she has no issues with it

you can order a titanium band which will give you the durability and the white gold look for a much cheaper price. You can find them for like $10 on amazon. I’m not sure about engraving, but i know some of he silicon companies will do customization. Qalo and Enzo both have that option if you order online.
