Truthfully, we have Ikea glasses for every day use. They are super cheap ($.50 – $1 each) and come in various sizes and colors. So that we can use them for all occasions, we went with as simple and plain of glasses we could find there, which usually meant they were the cheapest ones too. If you look at a lot of classy, modern restaurants, they just have plain simple glasses. Our initial set from when we first moved out lasted us about 5-6 years through several moves and both handwashing and dishwashers.

I have a 18 glass set that I got from Ross for 20$ they’ve held up really well for glass. If one breaks I’m not sad about it at all. I’ve had them since college so they’ve served us well. The set had 3 sizes I use the smaller ones for kids, milk for cookies, cooking..

We have the Otis glasses in various sizes from C&B.  I absolutely love them.  They perfectly conform to the countors of my hand.  They’ve only broken when I dropped them on the floor.
