I like the look of 3 points, however maybe you could get away with one? Good luck I too dread bustles.

I’m going to have a French bustle with my dress. I’ve just started alterations so I don’t have a picture of my bustle yet, unfortunately. Sometimes with French bustles, there’s only one layer and I think that looks weird. From what the seamstress was telling me, we might have about 3 layers. You might find that you like over bustles, but I personally can’t stand them.

I had the theia devon i think and I did a five point under bustle (aka french bustle) which I really liked. I like the idea of hiding the bustle points underneath the dress

Here’s half of my bustle. We ended up needing to do a 12 point under-bustle because this train is outta control. Not that I’m complaining 🙂
