So, you’re stressed out, and need to unwind somehow. You set out to fill your internet browser with all kinds of goodies to cheer yourself up, or you head out to the store in person.
What are YOU looking at? What cheers you up? GO!
I’ll reveal mine after I’ve gotten some good answers. I don’t want to influence what anyone says! I’m looking for something new to cheer me up anyway.

- Wedding: July 2012 - The Gables Inn, Santa Rosa, CA
I’m not much of a shopper really– lately I’ve been looking at new activities to do on the honeymoon (that’s my prize to myself for making it through the wedding without killing any of my family members!!!)
And when I didn’t have a honeymoon to fall back on, I look at airline tickets for a quick weekend getaway to somewhere fun for just the 2 of us– occasionally I’ve been stressed enough we’ve gone just to get relaxed again!

Jeans. Oh my goodness shopping for jeans makes me so happy.

I love going to Lush and smelling all the deliciousness and buying new stuff to try.

I am a sucker for craft stores….so I go to Michael’s or JoAnn’s. I have a whole closet full of craft supplies (it is pretty unbelievable how much I’ve spent there the past few years).
I also really like buying nailpolish when I’m sad or stressed…it is pretty inexpensive, I get giddy over fun colors, and the bright displays just make me happy. “All the things? Yes, please.”

This weekend I took a trip to Target. Thankfully I didn’t buy much, but it was fun.

I just bought a nice purse for myself, it was the first relatively expensive purchanse after the wedding, it felt so good to be able to buy something without feeling like the money should go towards the wedding!!! Shoes and spa products are also my go-to shopping therapy.

@Rouquine: Oh Target is dangerous.
We got a $25 gift card for the wedding and ended up going and spending another $200 of our own money. Nothing more than $20.

This is a good start. Keep ’em coming. 🙂
In the meantime, I’m off to celebrate my grandfather’s birthday with the family. When I come back, I’ll happily read and steal your ideas!
