I didn’t really have a “walk” at all, but my favorite part was the vows. It was like no one else was in the room except the two of us. We were both getting choked up and Darling Husband kept smiling at me and rubbing my hands to keep me from losing it, haha.

I didn’t like my walk either.  The music for the bridal party was much longer than what we needed.  I ended up standing at the entrance for a really long time waiting for that music to end and waiting for mine to start.  I didn’t like everyone looking at me!

My favorite part was the limo ride from the church to the reception.  That was the only time that day when it was just the two of us.  We were already married and talked about the ceremony that had just happened, and how each of us experienced it.

I remember walking down the isle, but he was so far away and I am slightly near sighted that I could not see his face anyway.  So I just focused on beaming at all the guests.

Oohhh I love the way you described it! Im so anxious for our moment, but I think I am looking forward to our First Look even more. We already live together and I’m already thinking of how we have already planned to not spend the night together before our wedding has me in sheer nervous panic! AHH! So I can’t WAIT to see him for our First Look; that will be a special moment for the two of us!

The walk was OK for me, but my favorite part is when I got to the front and we held hands and he said, “You look beautiful” and his eyes welled up with tears. THAT is the part I remember most and loved best. And the entire ceremony we were giddy and grinned and couldn’t take our eyes off each other. I barely remember any words of the ceremony, but I’ll never forget the look on my husband’s face!! 🙂

I almost tripped on my crinoline a few times down the aisle so “taking it all in” didn’t really happen… (although I do love seeing the pics of Darling Husband and his face while watching me & of me with my dad)

My favorite part of the day was the time of worship we had after the vows & kiss…. Darling Husband and I wanted to take that time together before taking communion and it was by far the best part.

I am SO glad we had that!

Wow, reading all of these has really got me choked! I can’t wait to walk down the aisle with my dad to my Fiance. I think it’s the bit that really hits me when I think about the big day. I fully expect to cry like a baby throughout the whole ceremony then.

@runsyellowlites:  I was tripping on my dress too! My dress was about an inch too long, but because of the intricacy of the embroidery and lace we couldn’t have it shortened.  In hindsight I shouldve bought a crinoline to fluff it out to take out some of the length.  But I thought I would be ok.  Everytime I stepped on my dress I could hear and feel the beads crunching and it made me cringe.

Mine was definitely the look on his face when the doors opened at the church.  I will never, ever forget that look.
