I honestly don’t think marriage changes everything… BUT…. having a baby DOES lol. I’m pretty sure that one is true. Being with someone you’ve probably been with for years anyway…. vs. bringing a tiny human into the world that you are responsible for for another 18 years…. O.O

this is a good point, but is it a negative change? like when we have kids are we just going to shut down? idk i’ve always felt like having kids would just make everything take more work, all aspects require more effort, more planning, and if you neglect to do those things, then your relationship really will change..
idk i could be way wrong, that’s always been my inexperienced theory though.

I’m not sure myself. I think it’s all what you make of it. In my experience, a lot of change happens. It’s inevitable, especially during your 20’s-30’s. I hope it’d be a good change but that may all depends on what you make of it. Better yet… I’ll let you know after we have kids lol.

The only time comments like this pee me off is when they come from people who aren’t even married themselves.

Love the poster comment.
Yes, I’ve heard this one. It’s such a general comment but, I know they mean it to be negative. I usually say, “guess I’ll find out” (since I’m not married yet). Don’t let anyone elses misery put a damper on your happiness. All the best to you and your marriage!
