NEARLY EVERYTHING with the wedding I “knew” I didnt want… Ive end up purchasing for the wedding. I HATED dresses with flowers… and now I have my eye on this one. I purchased a rehearsal dinner dress with big roses on it also after saying this, and I love it. I got a halo e-ring after saying I didnt like them at all. I picked flowers I said Id never want…. Im such a WOMAN!! lol! So tell me… what do you think of this dress? I was planning on havnig my dress custom made, but this is on ebay for 180, I think I may purchase it and have my seamstress alter it and help make the skirt look not so choppy.

I LOVE it! I think the dresses with the flowers are kind of overdone *no offense* right now, but I honestly haven’t seen a such with a such a bold statement done quite this well. Go for it!

Is it a drop waist ball gown? It looks a little square. I would be cautious on ebay btw, if this dress is 180, its prob coming from china as a replica.. not this actual dress. Unless thats what you wanted!

I kind of think the flowers are so big, they’re kind of… scary, lol. Not to be mean, I just think smaller flowers would look better. These seem to be taking over everything and draw the eye away from the best part – the bride!!!

I think I would have it made into an A-line instead of dropped waist so that the delineation of the skirt isn’t so severe. Hope that helps!

What would you ladies think if I got this dress, kept the drop wasit (I want to show my new curves) kept it a sweetheart, had the “choppyness” fixed in the skirt, and had a sheer layer added over it, so you could see the flowers but so they werent standing out so much, theyd be more subtle?
Also, how much different do you think this dress will look since its coming from ebay?

I think I would like ti better without the giant flowers. That’s just my opinion, and you should wear what makes you happy.

@futureJNS: I missed the part about it being on ebay. I’d demand a “real” pic of it first to make sure you’re getting the real deal. Make sure they show you pics of the tags inside, too. Otherwise, you might be getting a completely different dress.

It’s daring. Very fashion forward. As a wardrobe stylist I Love it! It’s very different and unique which I feel every bride should be on their wedding day.

Search for replica, knockoff, china, etc on the board. You should find a lot of inspiration vs actual dress photo. This would be a knockoff

I do think the dress is beautiful, but I definitely would NOT purchase it with a plan to alter it at all beyond just for the fit. The designer of this dress put a lot of detail into it, and I think that if you attempt to add more (i.e the over layer, etc.,), or, if you really want to make the skirt look less “choppy,” you may be taking on far more than you or your seamstress could handle.
If, however, you love everything about the dress, AND, if the seller checks out as being very reputable and has no negative feedback whatsoever — and especially if you pay with PayPal and if the seller permits returns — you may want to take a chance to buy it for that price. I will say, however, that the price does SEEM too good to be true, so I would really do my research on this seller, and, as a prior poster noted, ask for the seller to e-mail to you more photos of the actual dress that you would be purchasing.
NOTE: I just looked up this listing on eBay. The seller has two negative feedbacks in the last 12 months, including one about a cheaply made dress. I would NOT encourage you to purchase this dress now that I have seen this feedback. See below:

I agree with the pp’s, I find the flowers in the front way too big and over powering, they look better on the back though, maybe it’s the symmetry.
