- Wedding: April 2013
I’m having a cheap wedding for over 100 people and will be spending less than $5,000 on my wedding.
My photographer cancelled last minute, the reception space is getting all screwey with me, we can not fit the whole guest list into the space and will have to have a stand up reception, my bridesmaids seem to be MIA in the whole process and wont even provide me with their measurements that I’ve been calling and emailing about nearly two months, plans change every other day and I’m not even 1/2 way done with the planning for a wedding that will be here so soon. We are going cheap because we are broke while I’m still in school…
But I’m still excited! I have not gotten mad! I have not gotten upset about any of this! I am happy! I am thrilled! I am marrying my best friend and my other half! I am having a cheap wedding with a lot of people, but can’t cut the guest list because they are all close friends and family. They will understand if something happens and we only have beer and not wine due to a mix up (and of course I’m trying to avoid all mishaps but none the less…), they will understand if it rains during the ceremony and we didn’t spend over $1,000 on a tent. And if they don’t well I don’t really care because again… I’m marrying my best friend!
This man makes me happier than I’ve never known, he is the half that has always been missing from me, corny as that sounds. He ballances me out. He cooks me pancakes at 2 am (I think he’s trying to fatten me up), he makes me feel better every day, we laugh, we have fun, we are wonderful together and soon we will say our vows and spend the rest of our lives together. I’m so happy. I’m so broke and so happy!
