I haven’t but that would make me cringe too. At least he came around and saw things from your point of view.

SO and I broke up for 6 weeks in January, we had a big trip planned for Disney in April with his kids and mine that we had been planning for months and we were going no matter what! We got back together in march and started therapy after the trip. He confessed that before the break up he was planning on proposing in Disney. Guess I shouldn’t have pushed so hard 🙁 oh well I’m sure his proposal he has planned now will be great too 🙂

While it’s cringeworthy, it’s worth speaking your mind sometimes. I would’ve been pissed if my SO invited his ex-girlfriends to such an intimate celebration so I don’t blame you for going off at him.

My SO was planning on proposing when we went to Mackinac Island in may… But my sister got engaged that same day, and he hadn’t actually purchased the ring… Basically he pointed out the spot he was going to, but it would have been to much to have just heard about my sister, and waiting on a ring, he postponed and now we are waiting for the heirloom diamond to be reset. So much better then the first option, even if I am waiting longer… 😉
