For my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner I was thinking of just sending an evite. It will just be my family, officiant and bridal party. I have never been to one so I’m not sure if it is suppose to be formal and should have a formal invite. I guess I just need some pointers on how to prepare for it and what to expect. Thanks.

That should be just fine. I don’t know what proper etiquette is, but for my rehearsal it was all word of mouth. Same thing with other weddings I’ve been in. I don’t ever recall getting a formal invitation to the rehearsal.

Paperless post is a little better than evite, as there are no pop up ads, and it has MUCH nicer designs-but you do have to pay a few cents for each one you send-but it’s definitely worth the few dollars you’ll spend (less than $5) and the recipents will really like it, too. I never use evite anymore!
