sallyloves90 :  my ex cheated and I ran into his mom months later. We had been friends and she was suddenly cold and super shitty to me. She had no idea her son cheated and thought I just broke his heart. I decided to say fuck it and good riddance to all of them – yea it’s shitty of him but at the end of the day he cares more about his mom liking him than I care about her liking me.

If you can’t pay her back by Jan 15th, and/or doing so would cause you great hardship, just tell her you can’t and that you still plan on following the pay off schedule originally agreed upon.  It’s not a huge deal lol.  You don’t need to explain to her your personal financial issues, or defend your self to her or explain that the break up is all her daughter’s fault.  It’s unnecessary and dramatic.  Keep it impersonal and just pay off the loan as soon as you can and be done with it all.

At this point, she can’t change the terms of your loan. They were already established when the the loan was made. She can’t unilaterally change the terms of the loan. If you can’t do it, just continue to pay her back based on the schedule as you have been doing it, and if you can do it any sooner, it may be in your best interest, just to move on, and for your own peace of mind.
