Yes I have. I was with my high school sweetheart for 5 years. We moved across the country together when I was in college. Ultimately it did not work out. He immediately began seeing someone else (when I had gone home to another state to visit family for a few weeks while we were trying to decide what to do about our relationship, but before I had actually moved out). Long story short he got this woman pregnant and they got married. He stayed in the state we had moved to, I moved back to our home state.
Maybe 6 years later I get a call from him out of the blue while I am at work one afternoon. He wanted to catch up and reminisce. I wasn’t interested in that at all. He was trying to be flirty or whatever on the phone to which I didn’t respond, kept my answers short and quickly ended the call. I have not spoken to him since. Although I am not on Facebook, I knew from info through the grapevine of friends/family that knew both of us that at the time he called me his wife was pregnant with number 3. I also found out later that right around the time he called me he randomly called another girl he had not seen or spoken to in about 8 years (who he had messed around with when we were in high school behind my back when she and I had been good friends). I don’t know exactly what his end game way, but I always assumed he was overwhelmed with a wife and baby 3 on the way and wanting to start some side action.

Eh. The man I dated before my Fiance contacted me recently. I thought this man and I were super into each other, but he ghosted me a few months into our relationship.
Anyway, he reached out a year later and I am happily in a relationship and then got engaged. At first he was very chatty, but after I told him about my SO/FI, he stopped messaging me.
He claimed he wasn’t trying to win me back. I think he was just bored and needed an ego boost.

Haha I’m willing to bet this was a drunk dial! So weird.
That happened to me with my high school boyfriend too. When we dated, he was a virgin and really “straight edge” (didn’t drink) and I wasn’t. He was CONVINCED that was the reason I broke up with him. I got a call from him late one night, literally like 3 years after we broke up – suuuuuper drunk – asking me if I would “give him another chance to have sex because he’s had a few years of practicing with other girls”. I. Shit. You. Not. I laughed SO hard and obviously said no. When I texted him the next morning asking him what the hell he was thinking, he denied calling me and saying that and claimed he didn’t remember. Suuuuure buddy. 🤔

My highschool bf has tried to add me on facebook a couple of times, most recently a couple months ago – 11 years after dating and we were never friends outside of that.
