This is so great, Everyone is doing so well! Personally I am finding this so motivational! I am the biggest procrastinator, any excuse will do… the cold, AF, something on TV, tired, etc etc. So inspirational reading about healthly exercising pregnant mums as well bravo
We can do this everyone…now is the time for a better, fitter healthier you!

I’ll join! I was a latecomer to the previous TTC running thread and I found it a good motivation to train for my 7 mile race in August (plus, tons of the participants got their BFPs quickly so I think it might be good luck to be on a fitness thread!)
Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: Waiting until June-ish. Probably after our vacation to Seattle.
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I already do a boot camp (circuit type training) 3 to 4 times a week. Planning to add 2-3 days of running as well.
What kind of exercise? Circuit training (similar to crossfit but not exactly the same) and will start running to train for a 5K in April (the Color Run!)
Ideally I would like to lose.. I’m not really interested in losing anything but toning up everything. I’m at a good weight for my height.
Are you doing any special diets? No special diet but I cut out soda and I am trying to cut out Starbucks to bring down the amount of sugar that I drink.
Other goals… I carry some fat in my stomach that my Darling Husband lovingly calls my Discount Double Check (in reference to the State Farm commercials). It’s been a goal of mine to reduce this as much as possible.

@keepsmiling19: I’m doing a 5K in April, too! Are you training yet? Do you know what kind of schedule you will follow? I previously trained for a 7 miler with the Couch to 5K/10K and I think that was great! I’m planning to start on the treadmills in a week and then move outside once it gets a little warmer!

@DaneLady: Hello! I remember you from the running thread (I’m the one who ran the 7 mile race with my 80 year old grandpa)! I can’t believe that you are 34 weeks already! I feel like it was just yesterday that you got your BFP. Time really flies, doesn’t it? Hope you and baby are doing well and thanks so much for the motivating note!

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I typically work out 5 days per week
What kind of exercise? 2x yoga class, and 3x Couch to 5k (on week 8, almost finished!)
Ideally I would like to lose.. I’m not overweight, really just want to be healthy so I can continue to work out when pregnant.
Are you doing any special diets? Nope, I try to eat healthy, but it’s kind of difficult because my Darling Husband is a super picky and unhealthy eater. I do try to drink more water and no soda.
Other goals… Continue to stay motivated and keep trying to eat better!

@AstoriaK: Oh HAI! How is grandpa? I see you’re still running- good for you 🙂 I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. I thought the first trimester would never be over. I was pretty tired, too tired to do a lot of running anyway, but a bit into my second trimester I was able to pick back up with some low impact group fitness classes. I’m actually signed up for spin class this evening! I’m not sure how much longer that will last though, I’m getting super tired again since I don’t sleep as well anymore. Hurray, I’m glad we have this thread going! I just started working out again this week after getting thrown off track last month due to the flu.
Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: We are sort of NTNP and TTC, if you can even have that, haha. Ideally we’d like to concieve at the beginning of summer, but we decdied to sort of go for it when we feel like it for now and see what happens- no temping or charting
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I’m hoping for 4x per week
What kind of exercise? I’ve been doing zumba on the wii, and I’ve ordered a fitness ball to sit on when I want to watch tv (with a list of exercises to do during commercials)
Ideally I would like to lose.. Well, I’m currently pretty overweight so I have two goals. The first would be to lose about 10-15% of my body weight to help with fertility, and then ultimately I’d like to lose enought to weight what I say I weigh on my license (or less)! HA! So about 55 pounds.
Are you doing any special diets? I’ve been HORRIBLE about tracking what I eat online, although I know it’d help, but I’ve just been trying for smaller portions, with more fruits, veggies, and protein- less carbs
Other goals… I’ve given up sweets for lent, so keep up with that, and also stop snacking after dinner in the evening

Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: Waiting to TTC! We’re going to start trying in May after the wedding!
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I currently exercise two or three times a week. I’m going to keep at it until I get a BFP, then switch to 5 days of light exersize (20-30 minutes of walking once or twice a day)
What kind of exercise? I’m a Running Bee! I currently run 3-4 miles three times a week. I’d really like a run a half marathon before TTC!
Ideally I would like to loose…. Nothing! My BMI is around 19, so I could have problems concieving if I lose too much more weight.
Are you doing any special diets? I’m doing the “no fun lifestyle”! I’m going off BC on April 1st, and with my BC also goes caffiene, soft cheese, soft serve, artificial sweeteners, sushi… I’m going to get used to living without all the stuff I can’t have while I’m pregnant! Except booze. Booze is okay until we come home from the honeymoon!
Other goals… Run that half marathon!

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? i work out 3 days a week already
What kind of exercise? pilates reformer
Ideally I would like to loose…. i’m actually good with my weight right now. i lost a lot doing pilates since june so now i’m just maintaining and trying to get more toned.
Are you doing any special diets? nope. i don’t do well on diets. if i deprive myself of something, i end up binge eating it later.
Other goals… i’m hoping pilates will help me have an easier labor. it’s strengthening my muscles and helping me learn better breathing.

@DaneLady: Hi! Grandpa is doing great! Still running a couple miles 3 or 4 times a week and he’ll be running the road race again for the 19th time this year at 81. He’s the coolest! And yes, I’m still running! I took the winter off so I do have to start from square one but I signed up for a 5K, paid that money, and I’m going to do it. That’s really great that you’ve been able to keep up with your fitness throughout your pregnancy (even though it was tough in the beginning). Good luck to you, too and I hope you’ll be posting your birth story when it happens! I love reading those!

Darling Husband and I have been together for over 6 years been married 6 months. We are anxiously awaiting TTC. We will start this summer I’m hoping in june! We want to start now but we have a bunch of trips planned for the summer and Im in my best friends wedding so it makes sense to wait. we have both recently gotten back into our fitness routine after a long break I call the holiday binge. I want to be in the best shape possible when I get pregnant so I can get back into my workouts easier after baby!

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? 4-5, been trying to stick to workouts Mon-Fri
What kind of exercise? Title boxing classes, so much fun and such an awesome workout

Are you doing any special diets? Nothing crazy, just trying to cut back on sweets and eating out!

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? PLAN? 2-4, Actuality- kickboxing 1 time per week.
What kind of exercise? kickboxing now. we also hike and have been shoveling snow furiously. haha
Ideally I would like to loose…. 5lbs at least?
Are you doing any special diets? diet? not really no… eating less processed foods. more fresh veggies? But its not going TOO well… lunch is hard to make without stuff!
Other goals… more motivation! hopefully trying to cook better foods for Darling Husband and I! and longterm? hopefully getting PG on the first or second cycle!

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? 3-4.
What kind of exercise? Group gym exercise class twice a week, personal training session once a week, and run 3-5 miles on the weekend (depending on my level of motivation)
Ideally I would like to loose…. Ideally 24lbs (11kg), but realistically, it might be more like 14lbs (6.4kg)
Are you doing any special diets? Just trying to eat healthier and less portions. No special diet. I need to be able to maintain the way I eat now after I get pregnant.
Other goals… run 6 miles with no problem

What kind of exercise? elipitical and running
Ideally I would like to loose…. a couple pounds… but not so much worrying about weight and more focussed on toning.
Are you doing any special diets? Just calorie counting. But it’s hard because I don’t enjoy cooking and so I tend to want to grab quick foods that are too high in calories. 🙁
Other goals… I’m training for my 4th marathon. And I really just want my muffin top to go away. 🙂

How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I hate working out, but I NEED to 2-3 times and build up from there to 5 like I use to. I do have a gym membership and classes in my building too…lazy
What kind of exercise? Gym-elliptical, free weights to let go of the arm chub
Ideally I would like to lose….I would be happy w/ 18lbs (lost 7 so far) excited at 23
Are you doing any special diets? Eat well, log in all calories, take vitamins, think long term thinking over instant gratification.
For me this keeps me accountable: 5’0″ CW: 145lbs GW: 130 or 125lbs.
