Hello all! I’ve been a little MIA lately but I’ve been keeping up with being healthy! I started biking to work last week and my friend and I decided to give up a few things and keep each other accountable for the month of April! I am giving up junk food and alcohol and she is giving up junk food and pop. So far, so good (a couple of slip ups with junk food). In May I’m entering a health and wellness challenge through work where you have to keep track of different healthy habits on a checklist. Those earn you points and if you get enough you get entered to win prizes!

Checking in again!
Yesterday I did Jillian Michael’s 6 week 6 pack video. It’s good! Today I did 30 Day Shred first thing. I also did a lot of walking. I live about a 20 minute walk from most things and I drive WAY too much to those things. I also need to walk the dog more, so the two of us went off this morning and got lots of errands done and we got lots of exercise! I am super proud of myself! 😀

go you!! I have been walking a lot, but have been a bit slack with the 30 day shred I admit….this week I really plan to step up my game. We are TTC for the first cycle this month, so if this isn’t motivation I don’t know what is!

Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: waiting TTC (will start in 2015)
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? Start with 3 times a week then go up to 4 or 5.
What kind of exercise? I will be attending group exercise classes (zumba and cardio kickboxing first)
Ideally I would like to lose…. 50lbs
Are you doing any special diets? Keeping track of my caloric intake. Nothing too special or fancy.
Other goals… I really hope I can lose this weight before our wedding in October but by the end of 2014 would be good too.
Biggest Challenges: Being lazy and not working out, also binging on sugary foods

Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: Waiting to TTC, probably mid-late 2014
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? Currently about 3x a week, hopefully getting up to 5
What kind of exercise? I take advanced modern and jazz classes two days a week plus rehearsals on the weekend. I am also trying to work in shorter circuit training workouts (e.g. Jillian Michaels) on the off days.
Ideally I would like to lose…. At least 50lbs.
Are you doing any special diets? Trying to keep to a PCOS/insulin resistance-friendly diet but mostly just tracking on MFP
Other goals… I want to buy a house.
Biggest Challenges: Being lazy and not working out, being easily frustrated by slow weight loss, and frequent dance-related injuries.

Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: TTC – Cycle 8
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? 4-6 times a week would be great.
What kind of exercise? I hurt my ankles bad this past summer. So, kickboxing and jumproping are probably out. Mostly walking on a treadmill at an incline, riding a stationary bike, etc., for me.
Ideally I would like to lose…. 70 pounds. Ideal would be between 70 – 90.
Are you doing any special diets? I plan to start Atkins’ Induction in a few weeks to get a weight loss kick start. This isn’t my first or second or even my third rodeo, so I’m well versed in calorie restriction for weight loss.
Other goals: Just getting back to how fit I was when I got married. I was still classed as slightly obese, but I’ve gained 30 pounds since then. I was strong and able to run a 5k then.
Biggest Challenges: Craving sugary food. Ankle injuries that make me reluctant to exercise. After being on my feet too long or exercising too strenuously, I get a lot of aching, swelling and painful popping in them. So…that’s a huge challenge.

Are you TTC, NTNP, Waiting to TTC?: Waiting until spring!!
How many times a week do you plan to excercise? I work out pretty high-intensity 5- days a week and I don’t want to stop that, maybe just tone it down? I run about 15-16 miles, HIIT, spin, swim, weightlift.
What kind of exercise? run about 15-16 miles per week, HIIT, spin, swim, weightlift.
Ideally I would like to lose**** – none! Just don’t want to be a fat pregnant lady or fat mama.
Are you doing any special diets? No. Diets don’t work. I eat pretty clean (not too many unprocessed foods) and avoid red meat and wheat. And I count every calorie on MFP.com
Other goals...I would like to keep exercising as much as physically possible! I am addicted. I get terrible restless and grumpy if I don’t maintain my exercise routine. I’m worried abou tit!!!
