Maybe something like, “I give you this ring as a symbol/promise of (fill in the blank with something meaninful to you guys)”?

– It’s still kind of cliche, but it says a bit more and may feel more special to you?

(Bride’s name), I give you this ring, wear it with love and joy. I choose you to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward for better or for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish as long as we both shall live.

Bride says:

And hereto, I pledge you my faithfulness to show to you the same kind of love as Christ showed the Church when He died for her, and to love you as a part of myself because in His sight we shall be one.
