So, I’m going totally off the beaten path and decided to get my Bridal Party invidiualized gifts that are totally different from one another and totally not wedding related.
At first, I planned on doing a set with a personalized robe, a nail polish in our wedding color (I actually already bought that so I’ll probably give it to them anyway, separate from their gift), a bottle of wine, tote bag with cute saying, earrings for wedding, and similar. BUT, after a lot of thought, I decided to buy them gifts as if it were their birthday and something totally personalized to them (not in monogrammed way, but individualized to them :-)) and different from each other. It feels like a relief and very liberating buying something I know they will really love and enjoy and probably not expect.
Plus I’m really excited about what I got her. I got her something she’s wanted for a long time, a Clare Vivier fold-over clutch. This one here in black/cement: http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446619899&R=819935011445&P_name=CLARE+VIVIER&sid=14405958659F&Ntt=clare+vivier&N=0&bmUID=kg97686′ defer=’defer
Anyone else do gifts that did not match one another and/or totally not wedding related?
I’m not sure what I’m getting BMs yet, but I’m excited to shop for them 🙂
