I got married in Key West in December! It was amazing…great choice!

I had fewer than 50 guests, but I highly recommend Key West Cakes for your cake and Love in Bloom for your florist. Both vendors were a pleasure to work with.

Here are pictures of our bouquets and cake:

@mrsmbeegee:  I used Studio Marie-Pierre for my hair and airbrush makeup and they were fabulous! I also got an airbrush tan at the salon the day before the wedding and it turned out great. I would suggest booking them as soon as you decide because I believe Marie-Pierre herself books up pretty early on (especially if you are getting married on a Friday or Saturday). She does have assistants that work for her (I am sure they are great, too), but I really wanted her to do it.

@jiffy21: I think that is the best wedding cake I’ve ever seen! 🙂 Love it! And the bouquets are gorgeous. You need to show more pics of your wedding! I love Key West.

@Eglantine:  Well, if you insist…. 🙂 Here are a few more of my faves. It was seriously the best day ever!

@mrsmbeegee:  Let me know if you have any other questions about Key West. I had never been to Key West, and I planned the entire wedding via email, so I am pretty familiar with everything now!

@jiffy21:  Oooh, beautiful!! I can practically feel the sunshine. Love all the citrus elements. I love the vibe of the Keys — it’s very relaxed and unpretentious. Great place to get married!

I just got married in KW a few weeks ago! Curious if you guys used or are planning to use a wedding planner. We had a horrible experience with ours!

My step brother was married at Casa Marina a few years ago.  They really loved it. Darling Husband and I are vacationing there in June. Can’t wait!

So awesome!! A friend of mine had her wedding at a B&B there and it came out so amazing…I was inspired.

Great town for friends to hang out beforehand too!!!

@mrsmbeegee:  Our ceremony was at Fort Zach and the reception was at the Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa. Our planner was Kate Bentley events.

Congrats! We got married in Key West on April 10th. It was wonderful!! Everything was perfect. Just what we envisioned. We had a sunset wedding on Smather’s Beach. We had less than 50 guests though which made planning easier. Cakes by Karol did our cake and it was fantastic! I think you made a good choice with Casa Marina. I’ve heard fabulous reviews of their services. The property is certainly beautiful. Good luck with your planning! You’ve picked an incredible destination!
