My Fiance and I have been living together for almost 2 years now and I still get excited when he comes home if I’m home first.  Otherwise, I can’t wait to leave work so I can go home to him.  It definitely hasn’t worn off yet =)

@DCSquared:  Nope. In fact, my Lovebug announces when he is home in Ricky Ricardo accent and all. “Julie, I’m HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!” Very adorable.

I love hearing him coming to the door. Instant smile and we’ve been married for 2 years and together for 12!

My Darling Husband and I have been married for 2 years next month (together for 5) and I still count down the minutes till he comes home. I usually open the door for him…that’s how excited I am.

You are not alone… I am married but not a newly wed and still when I hear those keys in the door I jump up and unlock the door myself as fast as I can… ๐Ÿ™‚

He’s not my hubby quite yet, but we live together.  I get so excited to see him every day it’s unbelievably crazy, even to me.  I’m deliriously happy when he’s home before me; if I get home before him I get all fidgety waiting for him to walk in the door.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Then we pounce on each other with a big hug and kiss!

We’re like little kids, jumping around, even after all this time.  I love that part about us, that we’re still so crazy-silly-happy to see each other every day and be back together.  And we email and text each other constantly throughout the days, every day, so it’s kinda nuts.  I wouldn’t change a thing, though.

SO and I have been together 6+ Years… we both get very excited when the other comes home from being out somewhere.  Lol it is super cute.

SO’s face lights up, there is often a hug & kiss.  And I am pretty much the same to him when he comes home.

We have a guy up here who writes a sort of Lifestyle Column, he’s in his 70s I believe… and found love again in his later years… I remember a while back he wrote a column about his sweetheart and his relationship, and how just like a young pup, he greets her at the door whenever he comes home…

That is what dogs do… they run to the door to meet their masters after an absense, all excited to greet them… so why shouldn’t we as humans make more of an effort to welcome our loved ones home, knowing that they’ve survived another day out in the wild world, and now are home safe at last.  Makes sense to me.

@This Time Round:  I love to see my FI’s face light up when he sees me, too!  Isn’t that the best?

I really believe that’s a sign of true love, since the eyes are the windows of the soul.  You can see how someone truly feels about you that way!

I love the thing about the pups.  That’s exactly how we feel, too, we’re so happy and relieved to be safely back home with each other again.

@DCSquared:  Poor baby!  I hate it when my Fiance is out of town.  What are you doing to pass the time?
