- Wedding: September 2013 - The Skinner Barn
@soccergurl: I paid about $350 for the same amount of work. And that’s considered low for bridal alterations. Adding the bustle was $100 on its own.

@FutureMrsWeston o wow that is alot

@soccergurl: this seems DIRT cheap to me. I’m paying $800 for cups, boning, taking in the waist and hip areas, and adding some crinoline. But I didn’t want to skimp in this area at all and went with a very high end seamstress who only does designer gowns. Still though, the lowest i feel like I ever see on here is in the $300 range.

That’s a pretty nice deal!

@soccergurl: total deal! Mine was $125 for far less work (taking in the top and adding a very simple bustle)

Mine were $275, and that was just for a hem and bustle!! Your price is amazing!

@polyblonde neither do I want to skimp in this area as well which I’m glad that I have been able to see her work before hand. And she came with recommendations,so I’m not worried about her quality of work.
@Britt_RN thanks I will be using her services then

@soccergurl: Mine were $375 without cups added (I don’t want them). This is really low! A steal!

@soccergurl: Definitely low. I had the same amount of work done and it was almost $300 and from my research I think that was a decent price.

I’m paying $475 for the same thing so $150 sounds amazing to me

I think thats a great price! My bustle alone was $150. Alterations were included in the price of the dress but the bustle was extra so seems more than fair for a price to alter and do the bustle.
