That sounds promising! ((On both counts))

SO asked me my ring size on Monday, so I can completely understand where you are coming from!!

@Bettyboo1982:  SO knows exactly what I want. I’ve been pretty vocal about it 😉 Best of luck to you!

@Bettyboo1982:   Wow, sounds like someone is excited and can’t keep his mouth shut about it!  How exciting for you! 🙂

I have also been excitedly waiting after my SO stated a couple weeks ago that “we don’t have to wait until next summer” to get married and then proceeded to openly discuss our plans for children with my family.  Both of which caught me a little off guard though not entirely surprising.  While we’ve obviously discussed marriage and such, he seems to be further along in the planning of it than I expected he would be!

@Bettyboo1982:  Oooh promising! 🙂 Maybe shut up about the bench, you don’t want to draw his focus away from getting you the ring! lol. Maybe you can get engaged first, then get the bench and engrave on it the date you got engaged! Double whammy!

I sure hope it’s a hint because otherwise that would be such a tease!

Oh that’s definitely promising!  How exciting! I think they do that to get back at us haha.

Yesterday I was over at SO’s house, and I went to grab something out of his drawer, and he freaked out!  I think that means the ring is here! 😉

That sounds like a promising hint!

Much better than when SO’s mom mentioned to me 3 years ago (when we were planning on moving in together) that SO “might have something up his sleeve.” He had nothing. So frustrating!

@Bettyboo1982:  That definitely sounds promising!

My SO came as my date to my BFF’s wedding this weekend. It was sort of a mini-DW so we were there all weekend and he was obsessively rubbing my left ring finger all freaking weekend! It was pretty hilarious. At dinner I asked my BFF what ring size she wore and it turns out we’re the same size. She handed me her wedding ring and it fit perfectly. I showed SO and he got all teary! It was so funny. At breakfast he asked what kind of honeymoon I want. So… I guess he’s got wedding brain even worse than me now!

@Bettyboo1982:  Sounds promising, but don’t get your hopes up. Even if he has the ring, he might sit on it for months.

Like I always say, if you have open communication and have discussed marriage and timelines (like all couples should), then you have nothing to worry about.

I’ve seen bees on here read waaaay too much into hints and end up disappointed, though, so try to just be happy the way your relationship is (yeah it’s hard), and it’ll happen when it happens.. hopefully soon 🙂
