robinvalentine:  Good to know that you’ve been wearing yours with no worries. It’s a really pretty setting, and it does let a lot of light through. I thought the same thing about channel set, too. I like the look of them, but also feel that there might not be as much light. And the stones in my 5-stone are really pretty and sparkly. It would be a shame if they didn’t get a chance to shine — ha, ha! Out of curiosity, what TCW is your band?

I don’t wear the stack pictured much any more. I was still really experimenting with what I wanted and what I liked when I took that picture. It took me quite a while to figure out what worked the best for me. But I still love the band (it was a 16th anniversary gift), and I often wear it on my right hand, stacked with my “mother’s ring”.

Yep, everything is insured!  We have an extra rider for the more expensive pieces. And the less expensive ones are covered under our regular H/O policy. I thought about a separate jewelery policy, but the rider worked the best for us.

Not my wedding stack…  I think I posted them somewhere on this thread a while back but here is a fun stack I have been wearing as right hand rings. I love the little vintage diamond in the illusion setting.

I have also been enjoying stacking my grandmother’s cluster wedding ring with some bands my husband gave me over the years…

Here’s my stack.

1 carat diamond solitaire with a twisted rose gold band and a 3/4 eternity rose gold diamond band.

Don’t mind all the critters in the background!

Hey ladies!! Amazing stacks! I posted this on amother post but I have a question about stacking. I have always heard stacking rings that are  not soldered can cause damage/harm to the integrity of the rings when they rub and bump during daily wear. Is this myth? I’m trying to decide if I should solder my rings or if it’d be safe to stack to my heart’s content. Lol

thanks!!!

Scintillante:  I noticed you have so many gorgeous, beautiful rings! Are you a jeweler or do you just happen to be a jewelry lover?

kassieb:  Hi! I didn’t want to solder my stack because I like to play around with the order of the rings, new rings, etc. I bought a cheap, rose gold bond to wear between my engagement ring and wedding band to avoid causing damage to both. So far, it’s working and if my spacer band starts to get too beat up I can always replace it!
