(Closed) Exercise for Stress Reduction

I too have a stressful job, and, well, stress as we’ve heard can kill – mind, body, and spirit. Recently I was prescribed anxiety medication to avoid feeling overwhelmed. As far as excercise, I find that stretching works wonders. When I get home from hovering over my computer all day, I lay on my floor for 15-20 minutes and stretch my back, arms, shoulders, legs, etc. It’s definitely calming! Yoga is also mollifying…Though, if you’re like me, the idea of crouching tiger, hidden dragon in a room full of strangers is mortifying! Buyt you can stretch and do different breathing excercises at home. I use to think any "breathing technique" was a bunch of B.S., but it really works for me. I also enjoy walking the beach, sans Ipod, just listening to the surf…Hope this helps!
