I am just pooped! I said it. I am exhausted with all this wedding stuff. My wedding is less than 2 months away and all I want to do is sleep until the day. Planning a wedding just drains all the energy out of me. Am I alone?

I’m exhausted too… But it’s not because of wedding planning. I’ve been TOTALLY slacking, I’m a huge planning person but I think I’m overwhelmed! I’d say take a few days off! Take a wedding break, no wedding anything for a few days. It might be just what you need to jump back in and be excited about your fast approaching day!

About 2 months out, I had to take a wedding break. I was eating, breathing and sleeping wedding. So for about a week, I put all planning aside. It did help out a lot. I came back in the game refreshed.

@Day_In_The_Life: I am in that stage as well. Went to a family 4th of July party and when asked how the planning was going, all I could say was that I’m at that point where now it’s not fun anymore, it’s just stressful and a lot of pressure lol. That on top of moving into a new apartment this weekend has me seriously on edge and just exhausted! I think I need a few days break from all the wedding talk.

@TattedNYBride: I could not have put it better myself “it is just not fun anymore” Perfect description.

Exhausted is right.
Wedding planning is just overwhelming, I’ve still got 36 items on my to do list and it just keeps growing. Since my Fiance and I got engaged we have become the IT couple. Everyone is wanting to spend time with us (which I love) but which also means no free time what-so-ever.
On top of all that work has been FLAT CHAT! Including myself; we have 4 teams members in total, one is part-time, one is in her own world and the other has been away 2 out of the 3 years she has worked here and when she is here she spends it at morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. So she is of no use. And I’ve just finished a week of 24hr on call and organising a huge information session for 100 people.
Then lets talk about home maintanance, we’ve just finished painting, buying new furniture, getting a built-in-wardrobe since our smaller rooms looks like a bombs hit it, cleaning, washing, cooking etc…………..
Fiance might have no job in a couple of weeks and we have two mortgages and the wedding is no where near paid for.
And I haven’t even included it all……….I am TIRED!!
