Well good for you!  You never know about what could happen. My Fiance and I did the same thing. He started to want to a plan a wedding to just a few short months into our relationship. We started dating in June 2009. Moved in together in September of 09 and then engaged in February 2010.  I think that if he’s talking about it and mentioning it, then it’s probably going to happen soon! Yippie for you!

Who cares what others say?! You’re happy, he’s happy and you both know what you want. When it’s right, it’s right!

Good for you!! I like how you’re just soaking in the good times now and being level-headed about pros and cons of getting engaged over the holidays.  You and your bf sound really sweet together  ๐Ÿ™‚

Sounds awesome!!  Don’t let what others say bother you… people are going to be people.  They will have something to say about you no matter WHAT you do… gotta stick with what feels right for you!

My Boyfriend or Best Friend and I started dating on Dec 31st 2009, then moved in together the following May.  We started talking about getting married around the end of Jan/ early February, I believe.  We both knew right away that this was it for us… nothing wrong with that!  We went looking at rings a few weeks before we moved in together.  He just wanted to get an idea of what I like.. I told him that I wanted HIM to pick out my ring & I don’t want to see it before the propsal.  He’s picked out a ring… I don’t think he has bought it yet though.  Just waiting.. as patiently as I can, lol..

But yeah, if he’s bringing it up on his own without any prodding from you, that’s a huge sign to me!
