We had Always & Forever, sorta a joke that it is our song, but EVERY couple was out there slow dancing, was soo sweet.

Our last song was “Just the way you are” by Billy Joel.  Somehow I held it together the entire ceremony, our first dance, dancing with my father, etc. with only a few tears all night, but when we danced to that song I started bawling.  It’s just a great no-nonsense feel-good song, and everyone loved it.

Our recessional was the theme song to the movie “Up” called “married life”. Sooo stinking cute!!

I like your music choices!  We were thisclose to chosing Happy Together as our entrance song and I liked In My Life a lot as a parent dance song, too 🙂

We’re using Journey “Don’t Stop Believing” for our last song.  It’s such a cheesy ballad and we love it.  It’s sort of an inside joke, because we went to hear a string quartet play (for potential ceremony music) and we were expecting Bach and Wagner, but they were playing pop and classic rock.  Here’s these very serious, conservative-looking middle aged men with cellos and violins, rocking out to Journey…  We both had the giggles sooo bad we had to leave.  Anyway, we wanted to tie it in somehow, so it’s our last song.  I secretly can’t wait to hear all the drunkies belting it out at the top of their lungs!! 😀

Our last song of the night was also Journey “Don’t Stop Believing”  lol By that point everyone was on the dance floor and belting out the lyrics with the band!  It was a fun way to end a fun night 🙂
