UGH! I am sooooo mad. I booked round-trip tickets this morning to visit family with my boyfriend. This afternoon, I found the same flight for LESS $60/person on Expedia.
I called them per their “price guarantee”, and they declined changing it or giving us the $50.00 coupon. Their reasoning, after speaking with an agent, supervisor and a manager:
It must be “apples to apples”.
The only difference on their website was one of our connecting flights was listed as the secondary company name (Midwest Airlines) and not Frontier, which is the SAME company. Same flight, different flight number, same times.
Buyer beware. 🙁 I cancelled our flights and will rebook elsewhere.

That was crappy. They love loopholes. Good for you for cancelling.

Wow that’s so skeevy. I don’t understand why it is different since it is under the same company.

I would like statistics on how many people actually get a refund or price match check..

I did the Vice-President of Expedia’s wedding inviations, and she was no peach either. I would never ever buy tickets from a site that signs her paycheck.

@ ILikePink: Really? What was her issue?

I’ve had bad experiences with them too. Their business ethics leave something to be desired.
